Centre for Stabilisation Engagement (CSI) is responsible for the Danish
Home Guard’s international tasks and contributions to Denmark’s international
stabilisation engagement.
The Danish Home Guard’s contribution includes military capacity building,
military support to civilian reconstruction, support to humanitarian efforts,
and other international tasks, including security force protection.
A part of Denmark’s integrated approach
The Danish Home Guard is a part of Denmark’s integrated
approach regarding stabilisation engagements in conflict areas around the
world.

The primary task for the Danish Home Guard is to support the Danish Defence
in order to strengthen the protection of Denmark.
The Danish Home Guard provides a flexible capacity consisting of volunteer
Home Guard soldiers who combine their military and civilian skills.
Integrated approach in a national
context
The Integrated Approach Section which is a part of CSI, works
with the Danish Emergency Sector, the police, private companies and the Danish
Defence in order to support companies of vital interest for the civilian
community. That means i.e. training and advising companies in how to create a
culture focusing on security and preparedness.
